In Ecuador, like in most of South America, the favorite sport is soccer, the second favorite sport is…soccer, and the third favorite sport is, well, soccer. Motorbike Sport is such a wonderful platform where any sports person or sport lover can find many of useful information.

That can be a problem if you are like me and love American Football, Baseball and Basketball!

Ecuador still has a severe lack of good sports bars that show international sports. Many channels even encourage betting and show the pointsbet sign up promo on a daily basis. There are a few (but in my opinion they are rather weak and don’t often have many of the games I want to watch).

For instance, just recently, I tried to catch the NBA playoffs but I had zero luck until the NBA Finals appeared.

Yes, there is Direct TV and cable but even that in Ecuador seems to lack many American sporting events.

You could also check games result by visiting ผลบอลสดมีเสียง, the ผลบอลสดมีเสียง can also provide you prediction for the betting result also.

It is possible, if you are willing to pay, to get NFL or NBA packages through DirectTV, similar to the states.

But all in all, I hope one of you reading this seizes the opportunity and puts a good solid American sports bar in Quito or Guayaquil!

Question: Hey Dom, What’s the water situation like on the coast of Ecuador?  I have read about water not being good or even available in some areas on the coast?

Answer: Thankfully, water is not only available but cheap in all of Ecuador.

Ecuador is blessed with a lot of rain in some areas, granting cheap water to all.  Most people in the small towns on the coast have their own wells or “bombas” (water tanks) that they have to pay to be filled every so often.

That being said, you can’t drink the water from the tap, but it is good enough to use to brush your teeth, wash your fruit, etc.  (Unlike in some countries!)

Most, like myself in fact, drink fresh juices from street vendors on a daily basis (who often use tap water), and I have never gotten food poisoned in Ecuador (but I have been poisoned in other Latin countries).

Any entrepreneur would go crazy thinking about all the business opportunities available in Ecuador (I will reveal several of these in upcoming posts) but keep this in mind before you hire someone down here…

With the new presidential regime of President Correa, the country is rapidly turning into a more socialist country…with ever stricter laws protecting workers.  One of which states that all hired workers are due a “liquidacion” payment upon leaving your business, doesnt matter if they were fired or quit.

In the US, you can simply fire someone and chao, but in Ecuador you will have to pay them, often around 1 and a half month´s salary in order to get them to leave (the amount depends on time of service and salary size).
