Where Can I Meet other Expats in Ecuador?

Ecuador is still kind of an off the beaten path destination, you won’t find communities of 20,000 other Americans here like you can in Mexico… yet.

But it is relatively easy to meet other Expats, I’d start online, at the active Ecuador Expat Yahoo Group. There you can post questions, converse and meet others on the ground.

I’ve found it much easier to make new friends while living abroad than in my home country (USA)! It’s that a lot of people are new like you and also searching for new buds. (And birds of a feather do tend to flock together.)
