Ecuador is loaded with all kinds of tropical and sub tropical birds…there are over 1,617 known species of birds in Ecuador which makes it the country with the largest diversity of bird species in the Americas.
That number stated above accounts for 19% of all the bird species in the world…not bad for a country the size of Nevada.
