Find a Question:
Work Visa

Hello Dom,
I have just read your answer to the question on investment visa/residency. And the answer was that you have a work visa. Well, now I have a question about this
How did you get that visa? What needs to be done to receive it?
My no good attorney, to whom I paid $500, in addition to the Immigration Office visa fees, promised me that my work visa would be renewable for 2-3 years. That was in February, 2011. Now, when my visa is about to expire, she tells me that she had not promised anything other than 1 year visa for her $500 fee
Would greatly appreciate your suggestions. And thanks for your web site, into which I accidentally stumbled an hour or so ago. Already found information on health insurance. So, thanks a lot

Actually the work visa is a tremendous amount of hassle, Id go for the pensioners or investor visas in Ecuador.
Or Id get the 12-9 extension for 6 months and leave Ecuador for 3 months and come back.
I will be posting the requirements for both on this site soon.
