When is Carnival 2012?

Arrive in Quito evening of 5 February, spend 4 days in that area before flying to Cuenca, 2 days in Cuenca and then to Salinas via Guayaquil and make our way up the coast to Manta and fly back Quito and ouch home on 18 February. Is Carnival going to affect our travel and seeking accommodation as we please?

Carnaval is BIG in Ecuador and it is celebrated this year from… SAT 18th to TUE 21 of FEB. Dom MON and TUE are OFF DAYS.
