I am thinking of moving to Ecuador.My plan is to go for a visit sometimes this spring for about 3 months just to check it out first.
But if i like it i would return to the US to arrange my things and would return to stay in Ecuador for good.
my question is that i know you get a 90 day visa for any 12 month period….does that mean that i would have to wait 9 months before i can return after my initial visit?
Or is there a way around that?

Do i have to renew it while i am in Ecuador?…during the 90 days stay? and how long does that take?

You can renew the visa, but don’t wait until the last minute to do it.
