We will be visiting for a month in February. Do we need a visa or just a passport? Are we required to get immunizations and if not required is it recommended to get them, and which ones? thanks. rick

If you are from the US, Canada, Australia or Europe all you need is your passport t enter, theyll give you a month stamp in your passport. No vaccinations are necessary but most recommend you get your Thyphoid shots, tentanus and Yellow Fever. best, DOm

You will get a T-3 stamp which is good for 90 days per year, it starts and stops when you enter and leave the country of Ecuador. There is a large debate among the medical community about vaccinations…none are required but a few are recommended. This question is best answered by your personal physician and how you feel about your medical condition.
I would be more careful traveling into the Amazon region though but the rest of the country seems to be just fine.

Good luck and enjoy your trip.
