I plan on moving to Cotacachi this spring. Should I have my S.S. check deposited in the U.S. and make a monthly transfer to an Ecuadorian bank or should I have the check directly deposited to an Ecuadorian bank?

Dom would this apply for a military retirement check as well? Also, how hard is it to get a bank account setup? I’ve so many different things; which hasn’t been good about setting up an account. Thanks!

Id say directly deposited to an Ecuadorian Bank once you have an account. Just easier. Dom
