Shipping goods to Cuenca

I am coming back to Cuenca in Oct. 2012 to furnish an apartment. I will not be a permanent resident, but will stay a month or two each year. How can I send some bedding goods and kitchen utensls the cheapest way with no taxes, etc.? No furniture, but lamps and small appliances, etc.?

does that include sheets and towels? My realtor said to bring those, as they are harder to come by (quality wise)?I\’ll only have a tourist visa, Tracy

put everything in a suitcase, you might have to pay some duty though. You can only bring in household items free of duty if you are a resident.
