Real Estate Consultant for Coastal Ecuador needed …

Laurie and I are moving to Ecuador in June 2012. We would like to see if we can find, at first, a SFD rental on the beach … I have lots of info on what we think we want, etc. We have been planning for a few years. However our contact has moved on, so if anyone can connect us to someone who might meet correspond a bit with us before we leave, with us to show us different areas and properties and then help us to lease… when we get to Ecuador, that would be amazing. We heard of a man who is a real estate consultant focusing on the beach communities who is a biker. He sounded “sage” about the various communities. We are open to suggestion. We are both 57, kids in college now, have a pension, both are disabled (not catchy stuff:) Easy does it for us. We can’t WAIT to gt there. Can anyone recommend a nice but not wallet breaking hotel in Guyaquil,and either in Salinas and/or Manta that would welcome our cat? We found a place in Selinas area, but they have dogs, so no cats. There is a nice sounding place in Canoa, is it worth going that far north? We look for quiet and beauty, not much on party-party at all anymore.
