Is Quito a good area to retire in?Please

That is pretty subjective to what you are looking for in an area or city. I am not a big fan of cities in general, however if you must be in or around Quito I would look into the suburbs like Cumbaya etc. Pretty valleys surround Quito and you might consider being close to the new airport. If you can be more specific some of us can help you better.

Colonial city with most of the amenities of a major North American city. I have a place that I guess you would call the suburbs in Quito and am quite happy with it…..I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Good luck,
