LarryP, regarding this question you answered,”Police report needed for residency paperwork?” If you have a criminal record does that mean you can’t get a Visa?

Hi Debbie;

I am not an attorney so I really can not answer that question. I would think it would matter on what the crime was in reality but please check with the consulate on what would qualify or not with a police report and criminal record attached to it. Perhaps someone would be in a better position to make a complete answer on this forum than myself.

Good luck
