I never hear much about pets in Ecuador, let alone if they are allowed in Condos. Can someone tell me how pets (dogs in specific) are accepted?

As is the case everywhere, it depends. Most condos allow pets. However if you are renting the landlord may not. Some condos limit the number of pets allowed so ultimately you’ve just got to ask.

Usually rules are pretty lax in Ecuador regarding pets but be sure they dont leave their droppings around the public condo areas or your neighbors may poison it, its a common practice for annoying neighboring pets and Ive personally seen it happen in Ecuador!
