Importing 3 kayaks

We own a condo in Salinas. We want to bring 3 kayaks with us. We would get them at the Miami distriburship before flying to GYE. LAN can transport them in cargo. Has ayone done that (or something similar) before? I sent an email to LAN, but I got no answer. Or do you know a company that could take care of this at a reasonable rate?
The kayaks are TOP-SITTING. I heard some *MAY* be available at the Mall del Sol in GYE…
Any help/recommendation would be welcome.

Thanks, Dom. I read somewhere that you have a B/B close to the airport. Mall des Sol is close by. Have you ever seen this kind of kayaks there?
I wouldn’t be surprised to pay duties/taxes on that. I just want the 3 kayaks so we can enjoy some exercise and freedom on the ocean!

I would be interested in that information as well. I have not been able to find kayaks anywhere and I have looked.

Hello,you’re going to want to ask this question directly to the airlines before you buy your ticket. 3 is a small number so I dont envision you having trouble at customs but Ill ask a friend of mine to see if you will have to pay import taxes and re-post to this thread soon. Dom
