Guyaquil to Cuenca

I have booked a flight that taken me into Guyaquil on February 29th. I plan to stay at your B and B that night and proceed to Cuenca probably the following morning. I haven’t arranged travel from Guyaquil to Cuenca yet.
I know there is an airport in Cuenca and flying there may be my best option, but I was wondering if there is a minivan or something that might be worthwhile to take, and whether those arrangements can be made from the B&B. Thanks.

I noticed on Dom’s hotel website that he has information for traveling to Cuenca by way of bus or van. I am surprised he didn’t plug it.

I just returned from Ecuador with my family. We also arrived in GYE at night, stayed over in a hotel, and went to Ceunca the folowing day. I arranged for a van to drive us to Cuenca. It picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off at the hotel we were staying at in Cuenca. The company providing the van transport was Operazuaytur. http://www.operazuaytur.com. I arranged the transport on their website the week before. For 4, the cost was $80.
