3 of us are flying into Guayaquil and planning to fly to the Galapagos the next day.

I found a schedule and since it’s a Saturday, looks like there are 6 flights out.

We have 10 days for Ecuador, thinking about 4/5 days in Galapagos, so I would prefer to have an open ended ticket, which is not possible if we book before our trip.
But I want to make sure we can leave on the day in question.

The issue with early booking is there only seems to be one flight of choice going and coming back, and of course it doesn’t mention the cost of changing the flight should we decide to stay longer.

The price is maybe $20 more, so that doesn’t matter. Not critical we are on the same flight, but important we arrive the same day.

Question 1, Can 3 people book a flight to Galapagos the night before or the day of ?
Question 2, Is it possible to buy an open ended ticket ?
