Hi Clarence,
The “local” way to see the Galapagos is to go and stay in a small, cheap hotel there, and do day trips to the other islands you can hire on the spot in the port of Puerto Ayora.
Not as comfortable as a full scale cruise but can be much cheaper. Dom
