My wife and I will be moving to Ecuador from the U.S. in Jan. 2012. Would like any feedback on Health insurance for Ecuador-preferably a plan that would cover us as we traveled to other areas of SA.

Once you live in Ecuador you can get a variety of different insurance options for health, life etc. One plan my wife and I are on is called Best Doctors…a worldwide plan for major illness and transplant etc. Very reasonable. We also have a private plan called Humana that is a pay and reimburse plan at 80 percent.
