You have to get all of your business documents in order before you can apply for a business visa. The type of business will help you decide on the business structure which will also help you decide on whether its a good idea to do the “business” visa route or not. Unless you are very good with your Spanish or know someone who is and knows what must be done in the way of paperwork, you might want to hire an attorney to get this done for you. Trying to set up a business is difficult enough let alone in a foreign country where the law are much different. Depending on the type of business structure you may have to put up $12,500 to get the paperwork done, which you will get back but that jumped last year from $800 since so many were applying for business visas without the slightest hint of actually wanting to do any business and the government got wise. You can be a business here under your own name with your own RUC number etc. but again, the company, and the structure is important. Not sure if that helps you or not and if you need a good attorney let me know. Good Luck
