Closing on a lot soon and wondering if anybody knows a reputable builder in the area. I have spoken to one person and seen one of his homes but would at least like a second option. I would like to get started with the design soon although not exactly sure how quickly I will be able to build.

You will find that many architects here are the builder as well which might make it easier on you. Get some referrals from those that have used the architect/builder in your area. Many will travel and house a crew too, so you can go to other areas if the expertise is not where you are wanting to build.
